On the 14th of March I collected a cute little grey called Busby from a lovely lady called Jen.
Jen had been battling cancer for 9 years but at the time was quite well, she just worried that if she got ill again she wouldn’t make it and wanted to know Busby was safe she was so upset and didn’t know if she could hand him over but she was moving and really wanting him to be settled somewhere while all that was happening so I said I would look after him while that was going on and once she was settled if she wanted him back that was fine, so we left it at that and he might go back to her.
She rescue Busby from a pet shop where he was unhappy and he was 15 years old, not really friendly and very grumpy.
She owned him for 10 years and in them 10 years has turned him round to be the most loving happy little grey, she can lay him down in her hand on his back and tickle his belly, she use to let him sleep under her bed in one of the drawers he loved dark places and hiding!
He will dance on command and he loves shouting “Where’s My Dinner!! ….. “WHERE’S MY DINNER”!! It is so sweet he gets angrier and angrier it’s so funny.
He loves everyone, will step up to anyone too and even my children and my baby girl who is 15 months old.
He loves to sit out in the garden on a sunny day on the back of one of our garden chairs, he is Clipped Jen always clipped him as she use to spend a lot of time outside and he went everywhere with her. He has a blue cloth that is his “Ragga” and he likes to play with it and screw it up its really sweet to watch.
Here are a few photo’s of him enjoy…
Paula, Busby sounds fantastic. Jen has obviously put a lot of love and attention his way. He seems happy and settled which will help him along the way when it comes to his forever home.
Jen, you have done the right thing. he is in great hands and if the time comes that you need Busby to be in a new forever home, Paula will ensure he has the perfect home as he had with you.
Lots of love to you Jen. It must have been an incredibly difficult decision for you.
Take care.

Hi – Dear Jen was one of my closest friends and I am so thrilled that our little Buzz is so happy. He was the most important thing in her life for many years and we will miss him, as we will always miss her. Jen was a unique lady and adored her unique little fella with all her heart. Many Busby stories were shared at her funeral to which over 100 people attended. So many people loved he so very much.
Reat in Peace Darling Jen and continue to make people smile for her Buzz.
With love

Hi Joanna
Thanks so much for the comment it’s really nice to hear from someone who knew Jen, I know how much she loved Busby which is why I promised to take care of him if she didn’t have him back which sadly she never got to do.
Do you know who Sarah is? Busby is always shouting for Sarah and also ask’s where Gordon is? Would be nice to understand who he is talking about. He is such a funny little guy and Jen did an amazing job with Busby he is so tame and loves everyone will even sit with my 17 month old daughter which is amazing, he is part of our family and will enjoy many outings with us and days sunning himself in our garden he is a darling and a pleasure to have in our lifes.
Do you have any photos of Jen with Busby i would like to put one on his blog if you do
Thanks again
